College is a time where you’re finally on your own, finding yourself and your passions, and meeting some of your best friends. I wanted to make sure that my dorm would feel like my new home, and have decor where I could express my self and truly allow my personality to shine.

My favorite part of my dorm was my polaroid wall. It’s the first thing people see when they walk into my room! It’s a great idea in making people feel welcome when meeting new friends and inviting others into your room. It’s a way where you can capture every pregame, tailgate, or fun moments you will experience within your four years.

Picking your perfect theme is always important! I chose a classy and chic black and gold theme, for my entire room. I love the idea of gold detailing, and thought it would be a unique and cool way of incorporating it was black. I wanted my dorm to be different than the average look, but still have a girly feel to it.
